Facilities

The 1250 Bed Hospital comprises of beds which include Medical, Surgical, Pediatric and other specialties like Sport and Orthopedics. Opportunities are also provided to students to visit Health and Social Community Centres for their learning experiences.

The college is affiliated with many General and Super specialty Hospitals like K.C.G. Hospital, E.S.I. Hospital, Nimhans, Sanjay Gandhi Accident And Rehabilitation Hospital, Sports Authority of India, U.S.A., I.I.Sc., as also our very own Physiotherapy Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre.

The Library is stacked with Professional and Non-Professional Books Medical Journals Periodicals and News Papers in English and Regional Languages. Rated as one of the most comprehensive collection of knowledge in the related fields of courses, the library is constantly updated with the best Books and Periodicals with a large collection of audio and videos presentation in the form of Slides, Over Head Projectors, Videos and Audio Cassettes, Internet and Media from National Informatics Services.

The library will be kept open during the academic term upto late evening. Students will be given borrower card. While borrowing books these cards should be signed by the students ,as well as the Librarian. The students should produce their ID card on entering the Library.Taking reference books outside the library is not permitted.Delay in returning books will attract penalty.Perfect silence must be observed in the library.The whole library is computerised.

ID cards

ID cards will be isued to all the students after admission.The Card will be valid only if it is duly signed by the Principal with his seal for same academic year only.

The students will be allowed to enter the college premises ,only on production of his/ her card.In case ID card is lost a duplicate will be issued on payment of fees.

Outdoor and Indoor sports facilities are provided. A variety of recreational and cultural programmes and social events are organized periodically to assimilate the students into the social fabric of the society. The students are encouraged to participate in activities of their choice and interest.
All students are encouraged to excel, and participate in programmes at the state and National levels. Inter Collegiate Literary competitions and other extra-curricular activities are also encouraged. Recreational and educational movies are shown from time to time. Active support and Infrastructure is provided for students wishing to take part in games and competitions.

Transportation

The College is having its own fleet of buses to transport students and staff to various organisations,laboratories,Hospital etc.for practical training.

Recreation, Computer and Video Aids

A Recreation Hall is provided in the college with indoor games such as Table Tennis, Carroms,Chess,Cable TV etc. All students can avail of computer knowledge .The computer facilities are modern and advanced to cover the latest developments in the campus. The college has arrangements to show video films, on various subjects which are useful for the students.

Doctor on Call

Regular medical check up will be conducted in the College and in Hostelat regular intervals.In emergency cases services of renowned doctors are available on call.

GEA Guidance and Placement Centre

Students who successfully complete their courses can register their nameswith this Centre for any assistance in getting a job.The center has madetie-ups with many reputed hospitals,research centres,Organisations etc. to accomodate our students anywhere in the world.

National Service Scheme & NCC

The NSS has a branch in the college operated by the NSS officer and student volunteers.Lot of social service activities are taken up as a part of NSS .Blood Donation Camps,Tree Plantations are regular activities of this group.They also go on a survey in the nearby villages creating health awareness.Regular health check-up camps are arranged for the economically backward classes.

Uniform

All the students are required to wear the uniform prescribed and provided by the institution.The cost of the unifrom is borne by the student..It is important for the budding Professional to have a neat and tidy appearance. Uniform / Dress code shall remain compulsory in the campus and Administrative Office.

Internship

The Nursing and Physiotherapy students have to undergo a six month’s compulsory internship in rotation to help bridge the gap between the professional and academic perspectives gained during the course as per the University / Board directives.

General Rules

All admissions are subject to the rules and regulations of the University / Board and the final admission will be approved based on the criteria and submission of testimonials in original as stipulated by the University / Board.
Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Payment of fees in time is the responsibility of student /parent and delay of the same shall attract penal charges as decided by the Management from time to time. Students shall not be permitted for appearing in the University examination if they fail to attend the preparatory examination.

Any disputes regarding administrative or academic affairs of the institution are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore City only. The Management reserves the right of not allowing the student to the college / Hostel premises if found involved in any police / court case against the interests of the institution.

Medium of Instruction & Languages

The medium of instruction is in English.the syllabi and the course outline for all the courses is followed as per the guidelines laid down by the University /Board.Students in the science stream have to select the second language at the beginning of the academic year itself and the same will be taught only if sufficient number of students are available.

Hostel Facilities

Separate hostel for boys and girls is available ,adjacent to the college and security is provided .Students have to strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel.Both Veg. & Non-veg food is served in the hostel.Payment of the hostel fee is through DD or directly through our bank.
The hostel caution deposit shall be refunded only after completion of the course by submitting no due certificate from the warden. No interim requests for the refund / adjustment will be enteratined.The same shall be treated as forfeited in case of withdrawal of admission / vacating the hostel room,prior to completion of the course.

Allotment of hostel seats will be for the full academic year.In case they want to leave the hostel in the middle of the academic year they shall pay the Hostel Charges for the full academic year in lumpsum. All students shall leave the hostel on the closing day of the hostel itself. Students, while going out shall enter in the register ,time of leaving,purpose and proposed time of return.While returning they shall also enter the time of return in the same register. Students are allowed to go out for shopping once a month and should be back in the hostel before 3-00p.m..

No visitors or parents are allowed to enter the hostel rooms.Inmates shall not enetrtain any beggars,vendors or any other persons inside inside the hostel premises. Parents shall give a letter of authorisation along with an attested photo of the local guardiansfor allowing their daughters to visit whenever deemed necessary. Inmates will not be allowed to go outside along with any other person other than their local guardians authorised by their parent.
